The Quiet Beginning

Winter arrives softly, wrapped in muted silver and the scent of cedar smoke. It is the pause before becoming - a season of breath held and light withdrawn, where the world gathers itself in silence.
In this stillness, we remember that beauty does not always bloom. Sometimes, it rests. The days are shorter, yet the hours stretch long with reflection - the low sun turning every shadow into a poem, every whisper of the wind a hymn.
Here, the eye learns patience. Frost traces delicate feathers upon glass, while bare branches display their form and resilience. This is the time for looking inward, for contemplating the form of what remains when colors fade.
Winter teaches us to find warmth in simplicity. Stillness of soul. Peace in times between outward growth.
